A New Name with a Strong Tradition of Excellence Donald S. Powers, philanthropist, and civic leader started Community Hospital more than 50 years ago with a vision to provide Northwest Indiana with access to advanced healthcare. His legacy continues with Powers Health, an integrated healthcare system that brings together multiple locations, medical expertise and innovative technology, while continuing to provide the highest level of care to patients. Integrated as OnePowers Health is engaged in all aspects of life. We offer four hospitals, multiple outpatient centers and clinics throughout Northwest Indiana. Our comprehensive services range from primary care to complex procedures for cardiovascular, cancer, orthopedics and neuroscience care. Powers Health Medical Group offers a network of more than 500 providers in family medicine, internal medicine, OB/GYN, surgery and other specialties. A fitness center, home health, occupational health and rehabilitation services are all part of Powers Health. A Unied Look for a Unied SystemSoon, you will see the new Powers Health identity featured throughout the area on our buildings and signs. The new name and logo pay tribute to the legacy of the healthcare system while integrating strength and unity. One consistent identity will be used for all Powers Health services and facilities, making it easy for patients and visitors to identify and locate our healthcare system.
